5 Important Website Pages That Your Site Should Have

While every website is different, and some are larger than others, we can tell you that we always recommend some bare essentials. That’s because the bare minimum is a great foundation to start with, then expand upon depending on your individual business. We build custom website that are made just for you and your unique business. However, we have plenty of reasons for starting with a few standard pages!

If you’re looking to design a website with us, then let’s explain why we start with these five page types:

1. Home Page – The home page is your website’s landing page– in other words, it’s the one that most of your viewers will see first. That means it’s pivotal to making a good first impression, catching their interest, and guiding them to the page where they’ll find what they need.

2. About Page – This page is dedicated to sharing more about you, your staff, and your business. Why do we see these on most websites? That’s because people like to know who is behind the business! When they’re deciding whether or not to choose you from your competitors, they’ll want to get to know the people behind the work.

3. Products or Services Page – In some cases, you’ll want multiple pages within this category! We always recommend having at least one page that explains what products or services you provide. That’s often what people are looking for on your website. This page is crucial in explaining what you do and driving your viewers to convert to clients.

4. Privacy Policy Page – This page is a MUST for every website. This is your business’ statement on how you collect data, which is called for by laws and regulations. To create your privacy policy, we recommend you speak with an expert, like someone from our team, to ensure compliance.

5. Contact Page – How will your viewers convert into clients? They’ll need a way to get ahold of you! We always recommend listing your relevant contact information here. This may include your business address, email, phone number, and even social media links. By providing them a variety of ways to get in touch and making this page easy to find, you’ll make their access to you and the chances that they convert even better.

Feel free to use this as your basic idea with what pages you’ll want to start thinking about for your website.

Before– or after– your website consultation, jot down some basic notes of what you might want to include on each page. Also include any other thoughts you have about your website. These notes will help us in creating your website design and creating content, should you need our help to provide it. Let’s schedule your free consultation and get started now!
