How to Get Customers Engaging with Your Business – Events, Giveaways, Specials & More
One key to having a successful business is building a community. You want to have a group of loyal customers who come back time and time again. But how do you reach new customers and keep your returning clients coming back? We’d recommend occasionally hosting an event, giveaway, or special that catches their interest! This will get them involved in-person as well as online, when done the right way!
Here are some great ways to get new and returning customers to keep engaging with your business:
1. Host events – If you need some inspiration, look at local events from your community! You could have some live music, a trivia game, a themed day, a holiday party– just about anything you could think of! The key will be posting these events online, and we especially recommend doing so on Facebook and Google.
2. Hold a giveaway – The keys to a good giveaway are advertising and choosing a worthy prize. The prize doesn’t have to be crazy, but maybe something like a $25–50 gift card or a free product or service would entice a crowd to join in! There should be steps to enter, whether that includes just stopping by, spending a certain amount of money, following you on social media, or some combination. One of the best ways to ensure they keep tabs on your business might be mentioning that you’ll announce the winner on social media!
3. Specials – Everyone loves a good special. Why? They want a deal! If you already run regular specials, then make sure you’re working on marketing them! There might me plenty of customers who aren’t aware of them or who would return more often to take advantage. This doesn’t always have to mean discounted prices. Specials could include new limited time offerings, a perk when you spend a certain price amount, or a ticket to enter your raffle after every paid visit (this could tie-in great with a giveaway)!
While you won’t want to put all of your marketing efforts into events, giveaways, and specials, it can pay off to do so once in a while! These activities can help with engaging your audience.
