Timelines vary depending on the project scope and with each estimate, we will provide details about the timeline for your project. On average we know that a typical website redesign will take roughly 6 weeks. Some website projects can move along quicker or take longer based on the ability to make quick decisions and provide the information requested.
We believe that each project is unique, after having an initial discovery conversation about your needs, we will provide an estimate based on the project details, timeline, and any recommendations. Every estimate will detail a project deposit and payment options. We do not start any work until the deposit is paid and a signed contract is received.
Once you have made the decision to create or rebrand your website, we will arrange a discovery call to review what’s currently working and what’s not working. During the kick-off call we will gain access to your current website, discuss your branding and visual assets, and things you like about your website and other websites. From that conversation, we will create a sitemap and flat design layout. When the flat design is approved, we create a functional comp which we will review on different screen sizes and platforms. After this review, we will add all content as outlines with the sitemap and functionality included in the proposal. Then we will prepare your website for launch.
Each client is unique and we believe that your website should be as unique your business is. We don’t believe in buying or using templates. Many templates have limited functionality or fixed spaces that we end up trying to fix information into vs designing for the information. Additionally, we primarily work with WordPress as this platform is widely used and supported with constant updates and tests.
