The time needed will depend on the scope of the project. With each project estimate, we will provide details about the timeline for your individual website. On average, a typical website redesign will take roughly 6 weeks. Some website projects may move along faster or slower based on the ability to make quick decisions and acquire the information needed.
Each project has a unique price. After having an initial conversation about your needs and how we can assist you, we will provide you with an estimate based on the project details and timeline. Every estimate will include a project deposit as well as your payment options, so that you know what to expect. We do not start any work until the deposit is paid and the contract is signed.
Once you’ve made the decision to either create or redesign your website, we will arrange a consultation call. We’ll use this time to review what’s working for your existing site and what’s not, or any initial ideas you have for your new one. The next step will be the kick-off call, during which we will gain access to your current website, discuss your branding and other visual assets, and review aspects that you like about your current website or others. From that conversation, we will create a sitemap and flat design layout. When the flat design is approved by you, we will create a functional composition which we will review on different screen sizes and platforms. After this review, we will add all the website content as outlined within the sitemap and all functionality included in the proposal. Then, we will prepare your website for launch.
